北鎌倉は駅名です。神奈川県鎌倉市。

Kita-kamakura is a station at Kamakura city in Kanagawa Pref.

駅を出ると、線路がまっすぐ伸びて気持ちいい眺め。

駅から近くにある、古民家ミュージアムに出かけました。

古い建物が風情があり、面白かったです。

手打蕎麦 Handmade buckwheat noodle

てうちそば　です。

手打ちは手で打った、つまり手作り、handmade　の、という意味ですね。

でも、お蕎麦やうどんなど、麺類に関しては

手作り、と言わないで、「手打ち」という言い方をします。

麺は「作る」のではなく、「打つ」。

About noodles, 

we don't say "tsukuru" for make, but "utsu".

"Handmade" is usually 手作り（tezukuri)

but 手打ち (teuchi) for noodles.
